Where to find Model No. and Frame No. on the ID plate of a vehicle
Car parts are different from one car to another, even for the same model of the same year.
To identify the right parts for your car, we need the full model number and the frame number that are written
on the ID plate of the vehicle.
The ID plates is generally located on the firewall in the engine compartment or on the center pillar of your car.
For trucks they are generally located on the chassis frame.
For electrical parts such as alternators, starter motors, air conditioner compressors, make and model number of
the parts are required. They are written on the side of the units.
